Tree of Life Mitts
I love these lacey mitts! They work up quickly on size 3 needles and sport weight yarn. The way the leaf pattern lines up over the ribbing gives the impression of a tree with a trunk, hence the name.
The ribbing pattern isn’t difficult, but it does get a little fiddly when you do the cable part. If you are comfortable with it, you can do the cables without a cable needle or just use one of your dpns as a cable needle. The lace pattern is fairly simple, but it does have a specialized decrease.
