Even as a small child, I was fascinated by the beautiful shells that you could just find on the beach. We made things with them, but some shells were simply too beautiful and ended up in a treasure chest where we looked at them from time to time. Even today, I can’t just walk past all these beautiful shells on the beach. It doesn’t take 5 minutes and I already have another handful…
This shawl, which is knitted using the double knitting technique, guarantees many hours of knitting fun in which one shell after the other comes to light. So, you can really look forward to your next visit to the beach. In terms of size, this scarf is also ideal for a visit to the beach, which can sometimes be a little breezy. Large enough to cover the shoulders and small enough not to flap too tightly in the wind. The practical scarf ring (which is also described in these instructions) keeps the scarf elegantly in place.

Knowledge required:
• Stitch cast-on
• Cast off
• Knitting knit and purl stitches
• Increase stitches in double knitting
• - Double face knitting exercise

What you get:
You will receive a 30-page instruction with counting diagram and row-by-row description of the triangular shawl and a richly illustrated instruction for reworking the shawl ring. The instructions do not include a description of the double-face technique itself. You can find a free double-face knitting tutorial here: https://www.crazypatterns.net/en/items/97086/double-face-....

Difficulty level:
Although the instructions contain a row-by-row description for working the triangular shawl, I would only recommend these instructions for knitters who already have experience with the double knitting technique. The pattern of this triangular shawl is different in every single row and requires concentration when knitting.

You can find a free elementary school on the double knitting technique in my store at: https://www.crazypatterns.net/en/items/97086/double-face-....
