Treacle
This shawl was inspired by some of the gorgeous shawls that came out of the Nature’s Shades-along run by Isla of BritYarn and Louise of Knit British.
I love a garter stitch shawls more than just about anything. They are simple and mindless and perfect for my hectic life. This one is no different -- it has a simple top-down construction with an applied lace edging, which means no picking up stitches and no struggling to cast off the edge of the shawl loose enough for it to stretch.
It’s made with three skeins of DK weight yarn, so expect to get a large cosy shawl. Or change things up and use fingering weight yarn and see how it comes out! Your shawl, your rules. Enjoy!
