Traveling Trellis
Traveling stitch is a great technique for the trellis theme because the pattern lines are completely smooth and distinct against the background. A few flower-colored beads on the leg seem like a natural addition to a trellis, though they are optional. They are added in progress with a crochet hook, so they don’t require prestringing.
