> Trastan Shawl

Trastan Shawl
Trastan is the Scottish gaelic word for ‘diagonal’ and is a perfect description of the effect that the central double decrease has on the linear patterns created in each section of this garment.
The shawl has lots of texture, with broken rib and embossed chevron shapes interspersed with soothing stocking stitch to keep you knitting and enjoying every row. Knitted in cosy DK weight yarn and large enough to wrap yourself up in, this is a shawl you’ll reach for again and again for an extra layer of warmth.
