Koigu KPPPM Gradient Set 100% merino; 50g/170yd; 5 skeins, color: Denim Family (total 850 yards fingering weight yarn).

1 set US #7/4mm straight needles OR 24 inch circular needle, shawl is worked flat.

18 ½ sts/30rows = 4” in welted pattern after blocking, gauge is not crucial but may affect yardage.

PATTERN NOTES
This shawl is worked flat all in one piece widthwise. When working back over a double yarnover work the first loop as a purl stitch and the second loop as a knit stitch.

There are 5 repeats of Lace Pattern 1, 15 repeats of Lace Pattern 2 and 5 repeats of Lace Pattern 3 total.
