Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the train set is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/280m skein in each colour

One size only - The engine is 11.5 cm long, coal truck 7.5 cm long, passenger carriage and freight truck 9 cm long, brake van 8.5 cm long.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, this pattern incorporates knitting stripes, intarsia colour-work for the windows, and a 3 needle bind off. Other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
