Like many Swedes from the mainland, I am very
fascinated by the island of Gotland, far out in the
middle of the Baltic Sea. The Gotlanders have a
beautiful accent that sounds a bit like one might
imagine people spoke in the olden days and they
have kept many old traditions. Every summer, a
medieval festival is arranged there, during which
you can meet both tourists and Gotlanders
dressed up in old clothes practicing old skills we
don’t use any more in our modern, daily life.
Last year, my dear friend moved there, and
after seeing her amazing photography from the
island, I am even more in love with Gotland.
I do hope that you will join me in my very first
Mystery Knit-A-Long which is inspired by the
Town Wall of Visby and its surroundings.

Language
Note that the pattern will only be available

Choosing colours
If you have ordered Moods of Colors’s kit,
you can just relax, you are in good hands.
The socks will look awesome in her
beautiful colour combination.
For those choosing to knit from stash I can
tell you that there is no stranded knitting
involved so it is not crucial that the colours
strongly contrast. Although I do recommend
that you choose a semi solid main colour
(MC). When it comes to the contrast colour
(CC) you can go wild and crazy or just
choose whatever colour you love!
