Town Square Shawl
errata: The p1 tbl symbol in the chart key gives a WS definition only; it should also show a definition for RS where it’s p1 tbl.
The diamond motif used in this shawl is deconstructed and then played upon as a theme with variations. A twist on the traditional triangular construction, this shawl has no spine along the center of the upper triangle. Instead, the shawl is cast on along the top and is shaped with short-rows. Nupps (small Estonian bobbles) add texture between the border and upper triangle, and the shawl is finished off with the featured diamond motif and a picot bind-off.
