Towel Trio
This set of three hanging towels captures the look of the traditional woven kitchen towel through the use of slipped stitch patterns and pairs it with the retro hanging loop often crocheted onto the tops of store bought towels. The slipped stitches create a more absorbent fabric and help control vertical growth over time.
Adorn them with great buttons and hang them on your oven or refrigerator door to dress up your kitchen with a splash of retro fun!
Yardage is per towel. Full set used 3 skeins of blue, 2 skeins of red and 1 skein of natural. The Tweed Stripe pattern will work for any odd number of yarn colors so it can make a great stashbuster project for pesky leftovers.
3-page full-color pattern includes both written and charted instructions for each stitch pattern.
Crochet hook required only for the three color towel. Buttons should be 5/8-3/4” for best fit. For larger buttons a substitution for the bottonhole type will be required.
