Toscana
At less than two stitches to the inch, you can easily knit this bright chunky sweater in a weekend. The body is worked in a wide rib to just below the front neck, then stockinette stitch is worked to the shoulders. To maintain an even color effect, the knitting alternates between two rows each of two different skeins of yarn. There is no neck finishing—just sew the pieces together and put it on. The multicolored yarn—called Toscana— was inspired by the beautiful Tuscan landscape.
