Tory cowl
This is a super cozy cowl and not only that, is is so very soft!
It is the mate to the Roddy shawl. I couldn’t help myself and knit up a cowl as well to create a set. The cowl was slightly amended, to mix it up a bit. The all new and super quick to knit Tory cowl is such a pleasure to create and in the Softness skeins, you’ll love the feel!
Knitted in the round with a lace border, a hexagon stitch pattern and colorful garter stitches in the middle.
The pattern is fully written and also includes charts.
The size is 23” in circumference and 9” in height.
Yarn
Softness skeins, 100 yards each in a DK weight yarn hand wound with 2 colors and 2 strands of yarn to get the look and super soft feel as shown here.

Notions used
US size 7 (4.5 mm) circular needle 16” (41 cm) in length.
1 Stitch marker for beginning of round.
Darning needle or crochet hook for finishing.
Gauge 15 sts and 30 rows in 4” in Garter stitch
Techniques used
Knitted and purled in the round, slipping stitches, changing colors, binding off, weaving in ends. Blocking is optional, the sample as shown is unblocked.
