Pattern description

In this sweater, my goal was to make something simple and beautiful that is also versatile and interesting.
As a general rule, I appreciate asymmetry in art, architecture, and design, which was why I decided to use an off-center cable to break up the front of the sweater as well as to split the hem and the collar.
The yarn is a very stretchy cotton blend that holds the shape of the cable beautifully.
The collar can be worn pinned up like a turtleneck or folded down to reveal a little collarbone. It’s a clever way to deal with cotton’s heaviness as a turtleneck and guarantees that, when you want it to stand up, it absolutely will. If you like a stand-up neck all the time with no fold-over, just knit the neck shorter.
