Top-Down Shell #169
This pattern is available for KnitCompanion. #kcdesign
This lovely shell is elegant with its wide-set shoulders, shaped waistline, and simple edging. Because it’s worked from the top down, you can customize the length to suit you. Wear it by itself, or with its coordinating cardigan, Pattern# 170.
The pullover begins at the back shoulders. The back is worked down to the armholes, then placed on hold while the front is picked up from the back shoulders and worked to the armholes. Then the back and front are joined and the body is worked to the bottom edge, with waist and hip shaping.
The lace edging pattern is presented in written format.
