Tom Podnar is a fine arts conservator with McKay Lodge Conservation Laboratory, specializing in the restoration and preservation of outdoor sculpture. His daughter Kate, the owner of Knots, has helped him progress from hats to slippers to charted lace blankets in his short but adventurous knitting career. He likes his coffee high-end, black, and either hot or cold.
