The idea of Toe Cozies came from a friend who was tired of her toes being cold in her cast. She came up with the idea and enlisted our Crochet Club to help her make these crocheted toe covers for the Walter Reed hospital. This is the quick and easy pattern I worked up for our group. They don’t take much yarn, about a 1/3 of a skein of Red Heart. They can be embellished however you like them.
It is a great pattern to use up your scraps of yarn. If you are feeling generous, donate them to local hospitals to pass out to patients.
