These amphibians are made with minimum sewing in mind, having the legs, body and head made in one piece. They are crocheted in continuous spirals without joining the rounds. For the clothing I used rows.
Gauge is not important.
I recommend using size 4 worsted weight yarns. If you use a different yarn, the toy will be bigger or smaller and you will need more or less yarn than stated in the pattern (i.e. thicker yarn will make a larger toy and you may require more yarn).
The finished size of the toad is approx. 17 cm/ 7 inches using the materials stated in the pattern.
The finished size of the frog is approx. 20 cm/ 8 inches using the materials stated in the pattern.
