This lacy, dolman style top is knit flat from the bottom of the front, up, then separated at the armholes to work the neck and shoulders. Stitches are then cast on for the back of the neck to work the back of the garment. The front has an eyecatching zig-zag mesh panel, banded by gradually increasing garter stitch borders, to create a dolman shape. The back is knit in garter stitch to provide more coverage.
