Pattern Description
The Palestine Hat is a beginner-friendly knitting pattern that works up quickly in worsted weight yarn. Designed to show solidarity with the people of the war-torn Middle East, this hat can be made in the colours of the Palestinian flag: red, black, white, and green.

Perfect for peaceful demonstrations, everyday wear, or as a meaningful handmade gift.

Technical Details
Construction: Worked bottom-up in the round. The red triangle is knitted separately and sewn on.

Techniques Used: Simple, beginner-friendly stitches including 2x2 rib, stockinette, k2tog decreases, and yarn overs (used in the red triangle only).

Skill Level: Beginner

Sizes: To fit premature baby through to large adult.

Yarn: Worsted weight wool yarn – 1 x 50g ball in each of red, black, white, and green

Sample used: Drops Nepal – 100% wool; 50g = 75 meters (82 yards)

One ball of each colour is enough for all sizes.

Needles: 4.5 mm circular or double-pointed needles (US size 7), or size needed to meet gauge
