Tissue Roll Cover
Instructions for Tissue Covers and Flowers are given separately so you can make the combinations shown in the photographs or mix and match to create your own combinations. When pieces are complete, tack or glue Flowers to Tissue Covers as desired.
Tissue Roll Cover:
Materials: 1.5 oz. worsted weight yarn; H hook or hook needed to obtain gauge.
Finished Size: Fits 4.5” diameter roll of bath tissue.
Gauge:
- 7 sts = 2”, 2 dc rows = 1”
- 4 slanted V sts = 3”, 5 slanted V st rows = 2”
Sunflower:
Materials: Worsted yarn - small amount each, gold, dk. brown, taupe and green; sport yarn - small amount yellow; small amount green 6-strand embroidery floss; cotton ball; tapestry needle; D and F hooks or hooks needed to obtain gauges.
Finished Size: Flower is approximately 6” across.
Gauges:
- F hook and worsted yarn; 9 sts = 2”; 9 rows = 2”
- D hook and sport yarn; 6 sc = 1”; 6 sc rows = 1”
