Tircha Shawl Recipe
Tircha (meaning angled or biased in Hindi), is a
- Total stash buster scarf/shawl
- Use any weight of yarn at any gauge from your stash
- Make either a scarf or a complete shawl, depending on your yardage
- Use 1, 2, 3 or as many colours as you want
- Make stripes, or use your own colour blocking techniques
- Totally customizable…you can even insert your favourite stitch patterns
The sample shown in the picture is made with fingering weight yarns and uses 1 hank of our Cozy Shawl base in Satrangi colourway and a partial hank of Knit Picks’ Shimmer hand dyed lace yarn held double in their Sherry colourway.
This sample measures 82” on the longest side, and 17” deep and uses 174g of yarn. 100g fingering weight and 74g lace weight hald double.
