Tippi the Fairy is a dainty doll who spends her days in Fantasy Land. She loves nothing more than fun and giggles, you’ll never see her with a frown!

This pattern is an intermediate design and uses US terminology. A knowledge of how to crochet is essential as it does not teach you how to crochet, it simply provides instructions for you to make the toy.

Your tension, yarn thickness and hook size used will affect the size of your finished item. My Tippi is approx. 22cm tall (8.5 inches).

You will receive one PDF file which requires software like Adobe Reader to open (this is free to download).

You will need:

• 2.5mm hook/C-2
• 8ply yarns/DK or Light Worsted > 25g of CREAM and BRIGHT PINK, 5g of BLUE, PURPLE, GOLD, PINK, SALMON and ROSE
• WHITE embroidery thread or 4ply yarn
• 8mm safety eyes
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle
• Polyester toy stuffing
• Stitch marker (optional)

Notes:

• Amigurumi is usually worked in the round and a yarn with no stretch is best.
• Generally, the hook you use for amigurumi will be a smaller than for other crochet as you want the stitches tight.
• I’ve used the Ricorumi DK cotton in the following colours: o CREAM = col. 061 o BLUE = col. 033 o PURPLE = col. 017 o GOLD = col. 026 o PINK = col. 011 o BRIGHT PINK = col. 012 o SALMON = col. 021 o ROSE = col. 010
