Tiny Kelvin the Snowman
Hi there! Meet Tiny Kelvin, a small snowman who merrily spreads his holiday cheer where ever he goes. Of course, as a snowman, he usually stays put in the front yard. But he tries to radiate that holiday spirit all the same.
He can be made in any yarn and hook combination you want. Just be certain that the fabric is firm enough that stuffing does not show through.
My snowman is made using a 4.0 (G) and Knit Picks Brava Worsted in five different colors. You only need a very small amount of each, so Tiny Kelvin is perfect for using up scraps!
- Color 1: White (25 yards)
- Color 2: Brindle (5 yards)
- Color 3: Orange (less than 1 yard)
- Color 4: Grass (5 yards)
- Color 5: Red (less than 1 yard)
Tiny Kelvin is a beginner-level pattern. Skills you will need include single crochet, slip stitches, increases, decreases, crocheting in the front and back loops, and some seaming.
The pattern has plenty of progress photos to help you along your way to making your own bitty snowman and a tutorial on how to easily turn your mini amigurumi into Christmas ornaments.
Looking for something a little bigger and cuddlier? Be sure to check out his big brother, Kelvin the Snowman.
