ABOUT
This hat is knit from the bottom up in the round with a ribbed brim and classic heart design on the body. Sized for an average woman’s head which is 21-23” in circumference as stated in the CYC sizing standards. This pattern uses basic fair isle colourwork with 2 colours.

SKILLS
This pattern is an easy level, appropriate for an experienced beginner. Skills needed: casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch, knitting in the round, basic fair isle, knitting 2 stitches together.

• Size 9mm 16” circular needles
• Size 10mm 16” circular needles
• 2 colours of Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and QuickYarn (55 yds colour 1, 10 yds colour 2)
• stitch marker
• yarn/tapestry needle
• scissors
