The Timeless Granny Hexagon is an intermediate crochet pattern. It uses a few next-level stitches, including:

cluster stitches, which are basically the same as US dc2tog/UK tr2tog and US dc3tog/UK tr3tog (albeit worked into the same stitch or space),

• puff stitch,
• a simple slip stitch join-as-you-go method.

If you’re comfortable with basic crochet stitches, and enjoy a small challenge, you’ll find this motif straightforward and enjoyable to make.

I have used 4ply (sock) yarn with 3.5mm (US E/4) hook, but you can also use double knitting (light worsted) with 4mm (US G/6) hook.
