The Time Traveller shawl was designed as a timeline of your knitting. It uses a mohair highlight to track each time you pick up your knitting. The main base of the shawl is a garter stitch pattern with an icord along the edge. The gorgeous merino singles from Mamie and Florrie just adds to the squish-factor of this striking yet simple design. Each one will be different and unique, it would suit everyone, making it a perfect accessory or gift knit!

Information:
Yarn: 1 x 100g (approx. 400m) of fingering weight yarn and 1 x 50g (420m) laceweight yarn
Sample knit using: 1 x 100g (366m) of Mamie and Florrie Merino Singles in colourway Ice Wind in Reykjavik and 1 x 50g (420m) mohair silk in the colour way Vondelpark, Amsterdam.
Needles: suggested needles US 4/3.5mm or needles required to get gauge
Gauge: 24 sts and 48 rows to 10 cm over garter st unblocked
Gauge is important, especially when you may be using a special single skein. I suggest knitting Section one and using this as your gauge swatch. These patterns use most of one skein, so you probably won’t have enough to do a separate gauge swatch.
Measurements: Approximately: wingspan 170 cm/68” and depth 21 cm/8.5”
