Knit with Sugar Plum Circus yarns, hand dyed in small batches. Featuring original color work motifs with super short floats and fun combos of knit and purl stitches to create a unique depth and texture throughout, this sweater is a fun fast knit! Yarn
Sugar Plum Circus DK-weight yarn (100% Superwash Merino Wool 100 grams /231 yards).
Main color = Moon approximately 590 (660, 710, 750, 815, 870, 924) yards, 3 (3, 4, 4, 4, 4, 4) skeins,
CC = Drosselmeyer, 390 (410, 450, 470, 505, 530, 562) yards, 2 (2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3) skeins.
Materials
US Size 6 (4.0 mm) circular needles, minimum 16” cord.
US Size 8 (5.0 mm) circular needles, minimum 20” cord.
Note on cord length: for the yoke and body section, especially the larger sizes, you may want a longer cord.
For the collar and sleeves, a shorter cord, DPN’s or Magic Loop may be used.

Gauge
19 stitches x 24 rows in pattern for Body = 4 x 4” with larger needles.
Notes
This sweater is worked in the round from the top down. Short rows are worked across the back for slight shaping. Increase rounds are worked in between the color work motifs. The body and sleeves are worked with in a modified seed stitch. Sleeve stitches are put on hold after the yoke then later picked up and worked down to the cuff.
