She’s cute, warm and elegant: meet the Tilly Scarf! I have a number of dresses and sweaters that keep my body warm during the winter months, but leave my neck uncovered and cold. That is where this classic neckerchief comes in! This little lightweight scarf can easily be stuffed in your pocket and pulled out whenever you need a little extra warmth. Inspired by vintage neck scarfs and cowboy neckerchiefs, this accessory fits a wide range of styles and wardrobes.
The Tilly Scarf is worked flat in one piece, from tip to tip in seed stitch with built-in i-cord edges. After casting on, increases are worked on both sides until the desired width is reached. The middle section is worked without any increases or decreases. After knitting this section, decreases are worked on both sides until the tip of the scarf is reached.
