It’s Hands On Knitting Center/Sharon Mooney KAL time! Yay! The finished mystery shawl is a nice, big size to be usable and gorgeous at the same time. Named “Til We Meet Again”, it is a nod to the nostalgia for our “normal” times. We will get through this pandemic and see each other and HUG again. In the meantime, let’s join forces look to tomorrow in this lovely KAL.

The first clue arrives Wednesday, January 15, 2021 and then clues will be released once a month on the 15th of each month until you have worked all twelve clues and have an enchanting shawl to proudly wear when you finally can enjoy lunch with friends and family! If you join this KAL through Hands On Knitting Center, you will receive several accessories as well! Check it out in the links provided here.

The pattern is only $10. The yarn (beee uuu tiful!) can be purchased in special kits from Hands On Knitting Center, Redlands, California at this link:

There are 3 different yarns used in this elegant shawl, the colors of the kits available at Hands On Knitting Center are shown at left. Basically, you will need a skein of solid, speckled, and variegated that coordinate nicely. I used the Alexandra The Art Of Yarn “SunRiver”. It’s a wonderful blend of superwash merino, silk and cashmere. Drapes nicely.

There are 225 size 6/0 glass beads in this shawl. You can leave out the beads, if you don’t want to bead the shawl. Beading is easy, though, and the weight of the beads helps the shawl drape well. If you don’t want to add a bead, simply knit that stitch. You don’t need the crochet hook or beading tool, if you leave off the beads.

Should you have a question or comment before or while knitting this gem, I am always available for help (my email address is on the Reference Pages you’ll download right away and also on each month’s pattern clue. The Reference Pages include the finished size, the gauge, the links, a complete list of abbreviations used, special techniques used, a key for all of the charts (Also the chart in each clue are written out for those who don’t like to work from charts!) You can always ask questions and comment through the KAL ravelry group.
