From Nancy Bush’s Pattern Introduction
…These socks are decorated with the Kitsesilmakiri or goat’s eye pattern. They begin with a Continental cast-on and have k2, p2 ribbing before the leg patterning begins. The heel flap is worked with slipped stitches offset every other right-hand row. The toe decrease has a left-leaning decrease, a plain knit stitch, and a right-leaning decrease at each side of the toe. Though a bit unconventional, the finished product is neat and tidy.
