Three Color Fair Isle Cowl
This is the first in a range of colorwork cowl patterns that I’ll be introducing, and it is a companion accessory to the Two Color Fair Isle Hat pattern in my store.
Fair Isle patterning is one of my favorites and it seemed like a good place to start. The traditional designs can be simple or complex and I like the clean look of a simple three-color pattern: in this case, in the colors Anis, Summer Sky, and Tiger Lily. This could easily be done as a two-color cowl, choosing either Anis or Summer Sky instead of both.
This was knit for an adult, with the finished size 20” in circumference and 8-1/4” high (51x21cm).
