Thorn Blanket is featured in Faerie Knitting: 14 Tales of Love and Magic. The larger size throw was knit with Cascade 220 Superwash Merino and the smaller baby blanket sample was knit with String Breeze, a lovely cashmere and cotton blend. The book has illustrations on how to work the knit into the row below technique, with similar results to brioche, for the full and fluffy Thorn Stitch.
