Thonis Hug
This pattern is an elegant, comfortable set-in sleeve pullover that includes two versions - a tunic length and a cropped sweater. It has about 5 cm of positive ease that makes it fit but not tight, so it’s the perfect garment to feel dressed up with carefree.
It is knitted top-down, in the round, and has no seams!
Thank you to Phracko, for allowing me to base this design on his sweater, with my own modifications. To learn more, visit https://phrancko.com/ website.
It’s mostly knitted in stockinette stitch, with some small cables to make it interesting enough.
The Entrelac yoke is perhaps the more complicated part, but there’s a video tutorial to take you through every step of it, so even if you’ve never done Enrelac - this is a perfect chance to learn!
Once you’ve done the yoke, the bottom of the tunic and the sleeve cuffs are made with the same technique.

Gauge:
22 stitches and 33 rows for 10 cm.
There are significant differences in needle size between yarn types:
The cotton blend for the tunic required 2.75 mm (size 2) needle.
The wool blend of the cropped sweater required 3.5 mm (size 4) needle.
Please make sure to swatch before you start! no matter what yarn and needle size you’re using, as long as you got gauge you’re good to go.
Yarn:
The yarn weight is DK (120m/50g)
It is recommended to have a yarn with a drape for the tunic (I used a cotton/silk blend) so it will fall nicely on the body.
For the cropped version you can use a yarn with more body to hold the shape.
For the contrasting colors of the Entrelac:
2, 3, 3, 4, 4 balls of 50 gr for each color
For the main color of the body:
Tunic version - 7, 7, 8, 8, 9 balls of 50 gr
Cropped version - 5, 5, 6, 6, 7 balls of 50 gr
