Women’s cap with large lace pattern is created by binding off and casting on stitches.
Size 18½“ circumference and 4½” tall
Yarn Elsebeth Lavold Hempathy (41% cotton, 34% hemp, 25% modal; 153 yd 140 m/50 g):
• #53 purple, 1 ball
Yarn distributed by Knitting Fever
Gauge 26 sts and 38 rnds = 4” in St st on middle-size needles
Tools
• Size 2 (2.75 mm): set of short double-pointed needles (dpn), long dpn or 11” circular (cir) needle (optional), and 16” cir needle (see Notes)
• Size 0 (2 mm) or smaller: 16” cir needle or set of dpn
• Size 4 (3.5 mm): 16” cir needle
• Markers
• Waste yarn (perle cotton or similar) for provisional CO and lifelines
• Tapestry needle
