Ticker Knits involves knitting the same word across (the words are ‘stacked’ in the overall design). This scarf repeats the comforting phrase of ‘This Too Shall Pass’ four times, each time with one of the four words highlighted. It’s knit in the round as a tube, so the carried threads are concealed. Just read and knit the words on the graph and you just stop knitting the word image at the end of the round and begin anew. The seam is not matched because language is not symmetric, but they eye goes to discerning the word meaning and therefore little is any attention is paid to the seam itself.
