Thirty Seven
The River Seine winds for 776km from Northeast France, to the English channel on the Western coast of France.
Along the way the river passes through Paris, where it is traversed by no fewer than 37 bridges!
Thirty seven has been inspired by the ponts (bridges) crossing back and forth over the waterway.
Thirty Seven is written in 8 sizes in DK weight yarn.
It is a beanie knit in the round.
The pattern has you casting on and working a garter stitch brim, incorporating the base of the River Crossing cable.
Once the brim is complete the body of the hat is worked in reverse stocking stitch, with the cable continuing up the side..
The crown decreases are made without incorporating the cable, to make it an easy and pleasurable knit.
