Bringing the Fair Isle design you love in a knitted hat to the crocheted version using super bulky yarn. Not only is it unbelievably thick and warm, but it can be crocheted in just a few hours.

Materials used in the pattern are Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick yarn; however, any super bulky #6 weight yarn can be used. Two colors are used, using less than one skein of each color, US size N (10mm) crochet hook, yarn needle and scissors. Optional faux fur or yarn pom pom can be attached.

The four sizes include baby, toddler, child and adult, perfect for winter family photos. Also included are instructions for the messy bun style with the hole in the top.

The skill level is advanced beginner, and the detailed instructions include photos with instructions for the heart stitch. I am also available by email for any questions you may have, as I want you to be happy with your purchase.

The brim is worked in vertical rows and joined together, and then the body of the hat is worked in horizontal rounds from the bottom to the top.
