Vintage buffalo plaid is back in style! This fur trimmed boot cuffs pattern is unique in that it uses super bulky yarn, making it not only thick and warm, but so quick that they can be crocheted in less than an hour.

Materials used in the pattern are Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick yarn; however, any super bulky #6 weight yarn can be used. Three coordinating colors are used, using less than one skein of each color. Lion Brand Go For Faux Thick and Quick yarn is used for the trim. Also needed is a US size N (10mm) crochet hook, yarn needle and scissors. They can also be made without the faux fur trim.

This pattern is written in two sizes. The regular size will fit a calf circumference of 13” or less, and the large is for a calf circumference of 14” or larger.

The plaid pattern is worked in horizontal rounds, carrying over yarn colors without cutting.
