This swoncho is a fun and unique cool-weather accessory! An engaging knit featuring stranded colorwork, and a learning opportunity for locked floats.
Sizing available to fit anywhere between a 30”- 65” bust with approx. 5-10” of positive ease. Intended to be wide and loose, with snug-fitting sleeves beginning at the elbow.
Model is a 36” bust wearing S - M.

NEEDLES + NOTIONS
16” 40cm through 32” 80cm US 6 4mm circular needles & US 6 DPNs or FlexiFlips
Up to 13 stitch markers, tapestry needle, scissors
GAUGE
18 sts & 24 rnds = 4” 10cm in stockinette. Approx. 4 x 5 sts per 1” 2.5cm.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
This piece is knit from the top-down, with sleeves being knit onto the body after the fact.
Because of the long color repeats in some areas of the chart (17 sts at the longest), locking your floats is a very useful method to limit how many strands you will see on the wrong side of your work.
You can choose to lock your floats after every other stitch, or every 5 stitches, whatever works for you! I locked mine between every 2 or 3 stitches of the same color.
