The Wild Apple Pullover or Cardigan - Vildäpplet
The Wild Apple (Vildäpplet) was designed by Kerstin Olsson who joined Bohus Stickning in 1958.
The sweater was been adapted and kitted for contemporary knitters by Solveig Gustafsson in 2005 using her own hand dyed fingering weight (8.5-9 stitches to the inch) and was available through her website, SOLsilke. AngoraGarnet has now taken over production of the kits.
Disambiguation:
There are two authorized reproductions of this original Bohus Stickning design. One is available here from the book Poems of Color, and the other was reproduced by SOLsilke and is now produced by AngoraGarnet. The two reproductions are visually similar, but use different weights of yarn, gauges, stitch counts, construction and directions, so they are not interchangable. To avoid confusion, here is a comparison of the two versions:

These two versions, from Poems of Color and from SOLsilke/AngoraGarnet, are different patterns, and should be kept separate.
