I designed this pattern because I needed a cozy and relaxed—but still sophisticated—sweater to pair with jeans for weekend errands. The merino-silk blend gives the sweater just the right amount of slouch while retaining great stitch definition for the cables and lace. The fit is a bit oversized, with a ribbed neckband to keep the neck and shoulders in place. This is a great sweater to toss on over jeans and a T-shirt to go about town when the weather is chilly.
