First I am not against Valentines Day, I just don’t like that it is so commercialized and that even children are made to feel inadequate if when they cannot afford the right card to exchange with classmates.
What I decided to do was design a sock, that would emphasis the heart and make women think of heart disease, so therefore all proceeds from the sale of this pattern will go the the American Heart Association.
Heart disease is the biggest killer among women, even more so than cancer. So let’s be heart
healthy.
