The Tines is a simple shawl designed to be worn as either a scarf or a shawl. It can be blocked to show the lacey points on the border or straight to have a soft slightly wavy edge. The pattern is easy and well suited to the beginner lace knitter. The larger sizes do have long rows, but the knitting is simple and teh lace uncomplicated. The shawl is wide and not very tall so as to provide enough width to be a warm wrap without being too long at the back.

Fingering weight Small (Medium, Large): approximately 90 (150, 180)cm wide
