DESCRIPTION:
A mid-calf sock knit from the toe up, with a flap heel and a knit-purl gear panel on the outside of the leg, these socks can be worn by both men and women. The mostly-stockinette pattern lends itself to resizing.

GAUGE:
Ball band gauge of chosen yarn: 24-32 sts = 4”
Knitted and blocked gauge:
In stockinette: 38 sts x 50 rows = 4”/10cm
NEEDLES AND NOTIONS:
One set size 1 US/2.25mm sock needles in whatever format you prefer for sock knitting. This pattern is written for Magic Loop or two circular needles.
