NOTES:

Hat is worked in joined and turned rnds, beg at lower edge.
Work is turned at the end of each round, rather than worked with RS always facing, so that the sts of the Hat will match the sts of the Earflaps.
Color is changed to create stripes.
Heart-shaped Earflaps are worked separately, and sewn to Hat.
