The Republic Jacket
This pattern is
available from annatempletoncenter.com
for C$6.00.
Laurie says “Three cheers for the flag, pink, white and green! The Newfoundland Tricolour is a popular but unofficial flag that symbolizes our home and we wear these fun colours with pride. I enjoyed creating this fashion forward garment from Shirley’s Homespun Jacket in the original Operation Homespun book. The Republic Jacket is made of rectangular pieces knit in easy single rib. Big needles and yarn used double make it quick to finish. It’s the perfect jacket to snuggle up in.”
An Operation Homespun pattern.
