One of the books I have thoroughly enjoyed in recent years was “The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society”. I have also been enjoying knitting guernsey/gansey style socks. I can take a hint. Pair them together and knit a sock inspired by the book!

Four sizes are available; as always, you can adjust even more by slightly varying the yarn (lighter/heavier fingering weight) and needle size.

One average skein of sock yarn should be sufficient for most sizes; if you are knitting for larger feet, you probably already know if you need a second skein.

You may wish to use both stitch markers and a cable needle, depending on your preference.
