Two sets of stitch markers, x and y. Tapestry needle. Waste yarn (for holding sts and provisional cast-on). Ribbon or tape for finishing internal steeked edges (optional)

Gauge
24 sts and 32 rounds to 10cm 4in over colourwork in the round, using gauge-size needle
Below-gauge-size needle will be one size smaller than your gauge-size needle.
