This hat was designed for my sweetie, Norm. He likes to call this the Norm Number One Hat but there were several other hat designs that didn’t make the cut previous to this one. I guess that he’s trying to tell me that this is the only one that counts and that he’s hoping for a whole series with this being the first.

This hat is a nice fitted, lightweight hat. It’s perfect when knit in a machine-washable yarn like Cascade’s 220 Superwash!

If you’d like to add in a stripe or two or three, go for it! The stripes look great when added just a little above your cast on edge.
