This is the fifth in a series of 24 linked patterns to be published daily in December 2016. The pattern for the box shaped like a book is published separately.

This is probably the most complicated pattern in the whole series. The armchair is knitted in several pieces before being assembled but the finished result is well worth the time taken to make it.
